  As a local it's great having more options in the area that serve dinner, had previously visited Blackbird for breakfast and was pretty happy with the menu. Good sized portions and really tasty options, coffee is good although there are stronger options near by.
  
  We tried their dinner menu last week and were quite happy with our mains of crispy skin Vietnamese styled chicken, tender and served alongside a really yummy salad and sauce that you add to your liking. It is BYO corkage at $3.50 per head, really decent value overall.
  
  My only suggestion would be more appropriate music setting a nicer atmosphere?
  
  Will be going back for more soon.

  This is one of my locals. Recently reopened after a change in management, they are really doing a good job of it. The coffee has much improved in the past year. The breakfast and lunch menus are limited but perfectly adequate. The food quality can vary a lot from really not that good to outstanding, depending on how busy they are, time of day, and if it is holiday period. However, there is plenty room for strollers and very family friendly.
